From the 5/9/16 – 18/9/16 our detached team carried out a mapping exercise across North Belfast. We interacted with 613 young people from all different areas. We have identified particular hotspots that we will be targeting throughout the year ahead.

Some issues that young people raised and that we had observed –

  • Park Large gatherings at the weekend
  • Violence
  • Suicide /  Mental Health
  • Social Media
  • Alcohol
  • Arranged fights
  • Paramilitaries
  • Personal Safety

Young people were interested to get involved in groups, street games and meet new people.
